INTELLIGENCE BUREAU ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER - GRADE II/EXECUTIVE EXAMINATION - 2020

Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/Executive in the Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India. Candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria of the post, as mentioned below, may apply ONLINE through website http://www.mha.gov.in or http://www.ncs.gov.in only.

IB ACIO-II/Exe Pay scale: Level 7 (Rs.44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. Allowances

IB ACIO-II/Exe SERVICE LIABILITY: The post involves All India Service liability. Therefore, the candidates willing to serve anywhere in India only need to apply.

IB ACIO-II/Exe Eligibility Criteria:  

A) Educational Qualification for IB ACIO Exam:
Essential: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of computers.

B) Age for IB ACIO Exam –:
Min. age 18 Years
Max. age 27 years.
However, upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.
It is relaxable for such Departmental candidates up to 40 years of age who have rendered three years of regular and continuous service. The age limit is relaxable up to age of 35 years for general candidates and up to 40 years for SC/ST in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands
and not remarried. The age limit is relaxable for ex-servicemen as well as for candidates who were domiciled in J&K from Jan 01, 1980 to Dec 31, 1989 as well as the children and dependents of victims of communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat as per the Government instructions in this regard issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Examination Fees for IB ACIO Exam: It is in Two components: Examination Fee: Rs.100/- & Recruitment Processing Charges: Rs.500/-which is required to be paid as under:

Male candidates of General, EWS and OBC categories: Examination Fee + Recruitment Processing Charges

All SC/ST, all female candidates & all ExSM: Recruitment Processing Charges only

Note: Banking charges, if applicable, will be borne by the candidate

How to Apply for IB ACIO Exam Application Form:
Eligible candidates can apply online through the website http://www.mha.gov.in or http://www.ncs.gov.in from 19-12-2020 to 09-01-2021 till 23:59 hrs. After submission of online application, system will generate the registration slip, take print out of registration slip and keep it for future reference.

SELECTION OF CANDIDATES for IB ACIO Exam: Those candidates who acquire a specific standard in the IB ACIO 2020 written test (Paper-I & II) will be called for the interview. The date, place and time of interview shall be intimated to the candidates online.
Based on the performance of the candidates in IB ACIO written test (Paper-I & II) and interview, they will be selected subject to the condition of successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination.  

Note: Candidates appearing in interviews may be subject to Psychometric/Aptitude Test which will be a part of interview
