INTELLIGENCE BUREAU ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER - GRADE II/EXECUTIVE EXAMINATION - 2017

The written examination for the post of ACIO-II(Exe) contains two papers namely

Paper I (Objective type)

and Paper-II (Descriptive type on English language only).

The total duration for Tier-I is 1 hour and Tier-II is 1 hour

Paper I will focus on General Awareness/General Knowledge, Quantitative aptitude, Logical/analytical ability, English language

Paper II will be designed to check English Essay & English comprehension

Interview : 100 marks

SELECTION OF CANDIDATES:-

Those candidates who acquire a specific standard in the written test (Paper-I & II) will be called for the interview. The date, place and time of interview shall be intimated to the candidates online. Based on the performance of the candidates in written test (Paper-I & II) and interview, they will be selected subject to the condition of successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination.

There  will  be  negative  marking  of 1/4 mark for  each  wrong  answer in Tier-I.
No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question.
Only those candidates would be called for Tier-II exam
who come up to a certain standard in Tier-I.
For Tier-II examination, there will be a minimum cut off marks of 33%.

On  the  basis  of  their  combined  performance  in  Tier-I  and  Tier-II, the candidates would be short listed for the interview.

Based   on   the   combined   performance   in Tier-I, Tier-II   and interview,  the  candidates  would  be  short  listed for  final  selectionsubject to successful completion of their Character and Antecedent  verification followed by medical examination.
